A local Nova Scotia artist is illustrating the Eco Series. Help us fund professional artwork that will make these stories unforgettable for young readers.
Campaign is live — every dollar goes directly to our illustrator!
Support on GoFundMe →Our illustrator is a talented local artist from Nova Scotia. Here is a preview of the character designs and cover art for Seeds of Change: Mia’s Clean-Up Crew—the first book in the Eco Series.
Every dollar goes directly to commissioning professional illustrations for the Eco Series. Here is what we are creating together:
Full-colour cover illustrations for each book in the Eco Series, designed to stand out on shelves and screens.
Consistent, expressive characters that children will love and recognize across the series.
Full-page and spot illustrations throughout each book, bringing the stories of recycling, composting, and sustainability to life.
The Eco Series teaches children aged 5–12 about recycling, composting, textile sustainability, and environmental stewardship through engaging stories set on the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia.
Four books are written and ready for illustration. A talented local artist has been commissioned to create the artwork, and your contributions go directly to paying her for this work. Supporting local artists and environmental education in the same project—that is the kind of thing Nova Scotia does well.
All books are published by NSCTC from Canso, Nova Scotia. When fully illustrated, they will be available in print and digital formats through major retailers.
